The PI Methodology is designed to address your business core objectives and allow us to accurately address your critical business needs over perceived strategies that may not achieve your goals. This enables us to develop solutions that not only work, but are effective solutions as well.

While some projects are already in-progress and it is possible to "inject" into the methodology, it is normally critical that we follow this methodology for most projects. Our methodology is the key factor in developing well thought out and thoroughly planned solutions. This decreases oversight and shortfalls that can be caused by poor planning or inadequate understanding of the core problems attempting to be solved.

Below is an overview of our methodology which is based on PI (3.14). Not only is it foundation of mathematical principles but business as well. Here's why:

Requirements Analysis
Through a short series of consultations we can help you identify the aspects of your business communication or technology systems that need to be enhanced, replaced or improved. By addressing these issues at a quantifiable level we are better able to develop solutions to meet these well defined objectives within the constraints of your financial and time-sensitive needs.

Solution Design
Our solutions proposals consist of detailed outlines, strategies and specifications for developing, implementing and maintaining your business technology applications, marketing programs and communication systems throughout the application life-cycle. These solutions are designed to directly address the shortfalls and objectives defined in our Requirements Analysis phase while providing us the opportunity to prevent inadequate solutions through proper planning.

Product Development
Development of solutions can range from custom written application programming, product integration, hardware instillation or network configuration. For custom software solutions we can provide a complete test platform which will enable you to continue using your current systems without interruption during development of new solutions and applications. Our development phase is cyclical and allows for multiple revisions for testing and client approval to ensure that the solution meets both our professional standards as well as client requirements. Simply put, if it doesn't work, we don't deliver it! If it works but doesn't solve the problem, we aren't finished. If it doesn't solve the problem, we probably didn't develop it!
At the same time we take pride in our track record for developing solutions on time and within budget. This is due primarily to our first two phases along with our dedication to project management and the talent of our team of consultants and developers.

Infrastructure Acquisition
Providing remote server systems has become a core component of our solutions methodology. While most businesses have the technical capability to house their own web, email and database systems, they lack the on staff capability to acquire, configure and maintain these systems. While we specialize in Microsoft based network solutions (Windows 2000 Server, SQL Server, Exchange Server and Internet Information Server) we can provide web hosting, email and database solutions in both Unix and Linux as well.

1 Implementation

Product Delivery
Once our solution development is complete and the Point of Presence or network configuration has been completed, we will install, test and configure our solution to ensure that it is operating properly. Depending on the scope and complexity of the solution this may include documentation, training and additional on-site support to monitor the progress of the application or system delivered.

4 Life-Cycle Support

Product Launch
PI can assist you in developing marketing strategies to enhance your product launch including search engine registration, meta tag generation, traffic brokering, email marketing and other highly effective solutions. While much of our methodology is focused on development of technology solutions, creative solutions have been a large part of our portfolio. Successful creative projects are achieved by collaborative efforts during product launch and distribution to ensure that the message and meaning are received and modified to meet changing demands by both the client and consumers.

Support
Providing continued support to our clients to ensure that products we've delivered meet end-user needs, resolving unknown issues and providing additional technical and software support has been a critical factor in the success of our solutions. While we strive to develop bug-free systems, there is no application that meets all your needs the first time out of the box. It is our goal to ensure that you have access to the people and systems to bridge the gap between implementation and effective application of your solution.

Maintenance
Nearly all systems require some level of maintenance. We can assist you in developing maintenance plans, procedures and strategies that are designed to minimize the amount of resources you need to dedicate to maintaining your core business systems. Additionally if you do not have the in-house expertise or resources to do this yourselves we can provide on-demand maintenance services to help you meet the demands of keeping your technology solutions running at peak levels. Product Evolution
